  1. Thidanad Mahadeva Temple – The famous Thidanad Mahadeva Temple, located in Meenachil Taluk of Kottayam District, is a prominent Shiva temple. Lord Shiva is the principal deity here. The Vattakkavu Bhagavathy Temple and the pond associated with it are also part of this renowned Hindu pilgrimage centre.
  2. St. Joseph’s Church, Thidanad – Located on the Kottayam–Erumeli route and under the Diocese of Pala, St. Joseph’s Church, Thidanad, was established on 23 January 1865. Emerging from the historical tradition of the famous Aruvithura Valiyapally, the church is dedicated to St. Joseph. Beyond its particular traditions and legends, the church represents the deep faith, unity, and community spirit of the hill-country farming population of Thidanad.
